Inside Our Byfleet Body Shop

The facilities behind every Canada Coachworks repair.

Built for proper repairs

A repair is only as good as the facility behind it. Our workshop at Abbot Close, Byfleet is a complete body and mechanical repair centre — which means your car is assessed, repaired, painted, checked and finished on one site, by one team, to one standard.

The paint shop

At the heart of the workshop is our professional low-bake spray oven, equipped for modern water-based paints. Baking a finish at controlled temperature is what separates durable, factory-quality paintwork from repairs that fade and fail — and water-based systems mean colour accuracy and environmental compliance without compromise.

Alongside it, our computerised colour matching system measures the paint on your car and formulates against tens of thousands of manufacturer variants — the reason our repairs disappear, even on aged metallics and special-order colours.

The body shop

  • Panel beating and fabrication benches for steel and aluminium
  • Jig and measuring equipment for structural realignment
  • MIG, TIG and spot welding
  • Plastic welding and trim repair station
  • Dedicated preparation bays to keep dust away from paint

The mechanical shop

Accidents rarely damage only panels. Our onsite mechanical facility handles the suspension, cooling, steering and mechanical repairs that go with collision work — so your car comes back complete, not "bodywork done, now take it somewhere else".
